VE DAY 80TH Celebration @ St Peter's
Thursday 8th May, 2025 marked the 80th celebration of VE Day (Victory in Europe Day). To celebrate this historic event at St Peter’s, children came dressed up in 1945’s end-of-the-war era clothing and spent the day learning about the history of WWII and the importance of VE Day.
To celebrate in true VE Day fashion, we had the street closed for our very own St Peter’s VE Day Street Party! Children enjoyed an outdoor lunch, as a whole school, followed by playtime with various 1940’s games and activities!
