Our School Vision & Christian Values

Introducing Our New Christian Value - "Love Your Neighbour as Yourself" (Luke 10 :27)

At St. Peter's Eaton Square C of E Primary, we're thrilled to unveil our new Christian school vision. After much consideration with our clergy, school and wider community, we have chosen the Parable of the Good Samaritan as our guiding light.

Our Vision:

Our school vision serves as a constant reminder that leading by example and embodying the values we hold dear is a powerful force that fosters community and advocates for all. It encompasses the emotional, social, spiritual, and academic growth of our pupils, placing them at the heart of everything we do.

Our Aspirations:

We envision our school as a place where every child is not just valued but cherished, where they feel safe, happy, and inspired to learn. Our aim is to cultivate a warm, friendly atmosphere that supports families, fosters strong relationships, and prepares children for a lifetime of learning.

Rooted in Christian Values:

With "Love your neighbour as yourself" from the Parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:27) at our core, we're committed to teaching kindness, compassion, and empathy. These values shape how we nurture our students to be caring individuals. Our focus on becoming a Rights Respecting school and our emphasis on sustainability and global citizenship align with the teachings of the parable, reinforcing our dedication to creating a supportive environment where every child can thrive.

Our Christian Values

At St Peter's our Christian values underpin all we do. The breadth and depth of our curriculum is diverse and enriched to ensure the appropriate spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of all the children.

Our Christian Values are;

Service , Hope, Love, Forgiveness , Faith and Wisdom

We place a strong emphasis upon the value of Pupil Voice, independent thought and learning skills. We help the children understand the importance of respect and tolerance of different faiths and beliefs.

We promote healthy and appropriate moral development and positive behaviour throughout all we do at school.

Each term children, staff and parents are asked to concentrate upon one of these values. We celebrate and share these values through all we do at school.

The School Prayer

Almighty Father,

We pray that our school and community may be full of your love.

Help us to be the people you want us to be

And to shine as your lights so that one day the world may be your kingdom.

Amen
