PTA & FUNDRAISING
Our School PTA: A Registered Charity
We are proud that the ‘St Peter’s Parents - Teachers Association’ (PTA) is a registered charity with the Charity Commission (number 283529). This means that the PTA operates as a legally recognised charitable organisation, dedicated to supporting the education and development of the children at our school.
- Tax Relief and Benefits: As a registered charity, we are setting up Gift Aid so that we are able to claim on eligible donations. This means that for every pound donated by a taxpayer, we can claim an additional 25p, helping us raise more funds for the school.
- Access to Grants: Our charity status allows us to apply for school grants and funding opportunities that are available exclusively to registered charities, providing extra resources for educational activities and improvements.
